There's a couple of all natural supplements that work well.

Menopause Balance Complex: Uses compounds found in plants called phytoestrogens to ease mood swings, sleeplessness, and hot flashes. Contains extract of black cohosh as well as soy isoflavones and flaxseed. Also contains a proprietary phytoestrogen blend of dong quai, red clover, and licorice. No artificial colors, flavors, or synthetic preservatives.

Menopause Balance Complex Cooling Lotion: Contains blend of more than a dozen natural herbs including black cohosh, soy isoflavones, evening primrose extract, flaxseed, and jojoba seed oils. It's progesterone-free and may be used as often as needed without side effects.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.

I take Black Cohosh and Soy Isoflavinoids (from Nutrilite) and while I might get a warm flush once in a while its nothing like before I started taking it.
And no mood swings or irritability.

If you're a coffee or cola drinker, switch to decaffeinated or non-caffeine drinks. Once I stopped using caffeine, my hot flashes virtually disappeared. Also, watch your salt intake. Good luck.

Consider hormone creams: progesterone and estrial...the estrogen that is non carcinogenic (non cancer causing). You need a more progressive, feminist kind of doc to get the estrial but the progesterone is available at health food stores.
