Don't think so. I'd say it would help if you got married first. And the depo does make you gain weigh, should have known that before u went on it. I guess u didn't even have any information at all at that time. When u'll be ready to have a baby, u'll know it, don't worry, u r NOT ready yet!!!! Stay on the PILL!!! When u r married and live with your husband, and have a steady income, financially setled, then u might be thinking about it. Don't mean to be rude, there r just way too many kids cut into pieces in this world. Good Luck with your boyfriend and mom.

I know that these people mean well but it is your body. As for your ?? I was on the pill and depo for a total of 6 straight years all together, it didn't do anything to my periods while I was on the pill when I started the depo shot I didn't have a period as long as I was on it, I always started every 28 to 30 days.As for the not stop period that is one of the side effects you either bleed all the time or you don't have a period. Did you start the depo shot when you where having your period because you are suppose to be on your period when you get the shot for the first time. It did take me 2 years to get pregnant after I got off any kind of birth control.

Okay One you shouldnt be taking the depo shot if your trying to get pregnant Two wait til you dont live with your mom and she cant tell you what do to and Three stay on birthcontrol!! and if you move from the pill to the shot and the shot to the pill it doesnt do anything but delay your period until you get to the last week of pills goodluck to you...and if you really want an opinion ask your mom and see how she might feel about being a grandma!

Wait - why on earth would you be trying for a baby and on birth control at the same time?

I agree with previous answers - stay on birth control until you are married and moved out of your mom's house.
