My problem is that my body is a size medium in jackets, but my arms are so long that I often have to get a large so the sleeves are long enough. I'm looking for a peacoat or something similar, from either an online or offline store.

I have the SAME problem!! i'm a medium with long arms... i wear a large northface and the arms as well as the body are perfect because the body is adjustable. good luck!

Try a big and tall store. They may have smaller sizes with longer arms and torso.

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory in your area, I would go there. They have more coats than you can imagine and there's sure to be something that fits.
