Don't know exact termonology, but there is a small metal or aluminum piece under the fender of a western saddle that adjusts the length of the fender to raise or lower the stirrups. What is that piece called? I want to order a pair, but don't know what they are called. Thanks for your help.

They are called Blevins Buckles.

they are called Blevins, you should be able to get them at just about any tack store or tack catalog.
