A good skillet or frying pan WITH a splatter shield or lid.
I prefer the non stick varieties.

you don't need a special pan for hamburger.
if your doing it for sauce or loose cooked just brown it up in a fry pan with a little olive oil
making burgers do them on an electric griddle
