I was a huge card collector for years. Don't put too much value in the price guides. The card is worth whatever people are willing to pay. I once sold a Rice Topps Rookie for about $35.00 on E-Bay. The book value was $80-90 at the time. You will never get book value for anything. My advice is to take the profit when you can get it.

It is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Check on Ebay, that is where I go to see if what I have is valuable or not.
