Commentary: It's interesting that Collette is the only acting nod from Sunshine. Seems like Breslin needs the SAG, or forget it. Otherwise, it's familiar territory, with Golden Globe favorites Renee, Annette, and Meryl filling out the category. Meryl's to lose.
Commentary: A perfectly lovely category with Maggie as the happy fifth slotter that'll likely miss the final Oscar nod in place of la Streep.

Meryl is legend, Meryl is amazing!! I love her!! She deserves an Oscar. Come on!! I enjoyed "The Devil wears Prada" one of her last known works and she is amazing, works so well and makes you believe the characters she plays. In "The Hours" she made such a wonderful role...well, summarizing I think Meryl deserves an Oscar, Golden Globe or at least a distinction for her trayectory.

No, I don't agree that Meryl Streep will win. I do believe that she will be nominated for an Oscar and that Maggie won't, though.
The Golden Globe nominations aren't as useful to predict Oscar nominations as the awards themselves are. The Golden Globe nominations come out before all of the best films have played in the theaters. The Golden Globe awards aren't given until after all the films have opened, so voters have had a chance to compare all the performances before choosing the winners.

Personally, I enjoy most movies that Meryl Streep has been in.
She usually has more sophisticated roles, which I appreciate.
No wonder she has more OSCAR and GOLDEN GLOBE nominees than any other person.
