All my life, I've never really had friends because I'm overweight and not very attractive. Now I'm in college and have one close friend who takes me out on weekdays. But on weekends, she goes out to parties and doesn't invite me so I'm stuck at home the whole day Sat and Sun constantly. I did try to get a driver's license earlier this year but failed twice. I'm gonna try again soon. But I'm so lonely and sometimes when I'm at home on sat I would cry. My mom goes out with her friends all the time and my dad works everyday. I wish I had more friends who would come over and just hang out with me. But when ppl see that i'm overweight, they dont wanna be my friend. Whenever weekend rolls around, I really dread it because i have no one and nothing to do. It gets worse in during breaks/vacations because I have nothing to do.

Hello! Surround yourself with people who will like you for who you are and not what you look like.

What do you like to do? What are your hobbies - art, music, writing, etc.? Sign up for classes and immerse yourself in what you love to do. Get good at something. I am sure that there is something you are passionate about and someone out there will be passionate about the same thing. Your passions will spark others' interests.

Do you have a job? If not, go ahead and get one in a field that you enjoy. Also, co-workers make great friends too!

Don't wait for others to invite you or talk to you - walk up to them first and introduce yourself, start the conversation! Make yourself known and don't just aim to be the "nobody" in crowds. Always exchange numbers and emails so you can keep in contact with new acquaintances which will turn into friendships. Don't forget - you don't only meet people at parties. This world is huge and there are people everywhere. What places do you frequent and what people do you see frequently? Make friends with these people. Use all the opportunities you have to meet new people - the cashier at the grocery, the mailman, servers at restaurants, everyone!!!

Do not rely on anyone else to make you happy. Do not let others make you think you are anything less than who you are.

A number of sports aren't in the Olympics: baseball - bowling - golf - racquetball - surfing to name a few. Also, The World DanceSport Federation (WDF) was recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the sole representative body for dancesport, on September 5, 1997. The IOC recognizes dancesport as an eligible sport for inclusion pursuant to rule 29 of the Olympic Charter.

Take up an activity.. Wallowing in yourself gets you nowehre, trust me.. Nobody is going to help you but yourself. You need to get out and find something, look up something and do it. Meet people. Maybe if people don't want to meet you because of your weight then you should join a gym with other people like you who understand you.

well if you don't like the way you look then do something about it i'm sure theres someone who may want to be your friend but who wants to be around someone who does'nt like to do anything. you need to stop depending on someone to make your life better . you need to create something you enjoy doing then meet some people who have the same interesr as you.

Dont cry over it, people are superficial and sadly its what society encourages. You will find friends who arent like that, it just takes time to find some true friends.

hi , i think you should not care about your overweight, everyone of us has something about ourserlves that we deslike, what counts is your interior, the real you is inside you, not in your physical appearance , trust yourself , dont give up.

Get a life. Change. On the other hand it may involve too much sacrifice. And you seem to revel in unhappiness.
