I was lucky when I got pregnant with my son. I did not get any stretch marks on my stomach at all, but i did get them a little on my breast and they went away. I also got a few on my thighs which you can barely see now because I used Mederma scar cream. It worked wonderful. Maybe the reason I hardly got any was because every time I got out of the shower I put Jergens Firming lotion on my entire body. The lotion is real thick and keeps your elasticity in your skin. They make Palmer's lotion for pregnant women but all my friends used it and it didn't work at all.

All I can tell you is Cocoa butter, cocoa butter, cocoa butter!!! Keep using it while your pregnant all over your stomach, sides, arms, breasts, everywhere that tends to grow during pregnancy.

Stretch marks will fade, but hey will not go away. the only thing to do is try to prevent them by keeping your skin very well lotioned up.

Good Luck to you! Enjoy your pregnancy and dont worry about them too much!

Stretch marks do fade in time. They start out little the get big and turn a redish purple color and then they fade. If you tan it make them fade faster but jus to warn you when you tan the stretch marks dont get darker. I just had my son 3 months ago and the ones on my tummy still havent faded yet but the ones on my chest have becuase they get more sun light. Just come to terms with them if you get them you get them their isnt really anything you can do to make them disappear

They sometimes fade and become a silvery color, but they never completely disappear. They say that while you are still pregnant to use a little cocoa butter on the places that are stretching, (belly, breasts, or anywhere else) and it should keep them minimal. Cocoa butter makes the skin soft and pliable, making it easier to stretch and expand.

I've always been told that using olive oil will greatly reduce the appearance of stretch marks... but does not remove the appearance completely. I don't believe you'd be able to completely hide them. Good luck!

I know coco butter helps prevent them and Palmer's makes stretch mark serum and lotions. I've used one of the Palmer's throughout my pregnancy...I'm 30 weeks and I don't have any so far. But I'm not sure how well their serum works. You use that if you have them already...I can't say if it works but I know it's there....lol The lotion was great though.
Good Luck!

You know, they just fade with time to a kind of silvery-pink. Nothing gets rid of them, you just have to change your attitude about them - they are a badge of courage to children you have borne. If that were one of the costs to get a baby, it is indeed a small price to pay.

They'll fade but don't go away completly. Use lotions with cocoa butter to prevent some.
