How historic is your razor? That could have plenty to do with it. Make certain that you've a pointy razor and that you do not press too rough whilst you shave. It's additionally a well proposal to permit your legs soak within the hot water earlier than you shave to melt the hairs. If you exfoliate earlier than you shave, with a view to aid unencumber any ingrown hairs and aid you to get a smoother shave as good. Even in case you use shaving cream, lotion will aid plenty whilst you conclude. The shaving cream simply is helping to scale down at the friction whilst you are shaving, but it surely does not always moisturize. Your legs are customarily dry simply given that you are scraping the highest layer off after which no longer making use of whatever to make that correct. Razor bumps occur, specially within the bikini line subject. If you hold shaving there and the epidermis will get used to it, they will customarily leave, however once more make certain that your razor is sharp sufficient and that you're taking it slow and shaving within the path of hair development. All of this can be simpler for your epidermis and make it much less most likely that you'll be able to get razor bumps whenever.

You have many options but I would suggest thing
first start off by taking a normal shower, this will open the pours in your legs and will prevent you from cutting yourself when you shave, second lather your legs with hair conditioner(you don't need to use shaving gel, it's a waste of money, conditioner works just as well and actually better), third use a three blade razor that is safe to use like the Venus by gillete with mostiorizer on the blade( don't rush when you shave thats how people get nasty cuts on their legs that leave marks), then just when you finish rinse off the conditoner that is left...shaving takes practice and it will take you a few trys before you get the hang out of it....
good luck

First, make sure you're calm when you shave. :) The above-mentioned items are a good idea. Always draw the razor towards you. Shave as often as you feel like it. A lot of people shave every day if their legs are going to be exposed every day. Go slowly. Too fast can make you cut yourself. And sometimes even when you take your time, you still cut yourself. So, when that happens, don't panic.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.
A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

I think Ren has the best idea. The only thing I would add is that the razor does not have to be pink
