Is there a different age limit for boys and girls?

I have two boys and I never need to spank them because it is just ineffective. I have them stand in the bathroom facing the wall and they hate that more than anything. But I only have to do it once every month or so. They know with their warnings what will come next. If you need to spank I would say after 6 or 7 you should be able to reason with a child and remove special things for a punishment. Spanking beyond that age I think is pretty much pointless.

I'd say when they are bigger than you are or when they are around 12-13. I don't think there is a different age limit between the genders. I guess that it is really up to the parent.

Boys and girls get too old for them at age 9. If you keep doing it after that it will just have negative effects.

when there 10 years old they are realy scared or something. but when they get older they don't realy care.
