Ah self-confidence is a tricky one. Does the lack of it have something to do with emotional or physical aspects of your life.

If it's a physical thing, changing your appearance could be an option. If changing isn't an option enhancing what you have might help. Seek out your strong points and make the best of it.

If it's more an emotional thing it's wise to read some self help books. Talk to people you love and trust. If that's not possible talking to a professional might help. But it all starts with an act of kindness towards yourself. Reward yourself with your favorite meal, scent, book or any other gift for yourself that might lift your spirit.

But keep one thing in mind. Life is too short to be afraid of rejection. Ask yourself this question what if you knew you had only 2 weeks left to live. What would you do. Write down your wildest fantasies and try to pick a fantasy you can act out.
Please remember this is not something you have to go through alone. Everybody has a lack of confidence at some point so no need to despair. It's just how you go about dealing and solving it.

I could use some work on this as well but one thing that will get you started is:

When you realise you have made a mistake or messed something up, if it isnt critical, brush it off ("Oh well"). After a while of this, most people should stop or forget much of what you do because you dont make a big deal about it.

One more thing.

If you are drinking ANYTHING Caffeinated, it would help quite a bit to stop it. It has been known to cause things that would make you feel or appear different when you are embarassed. I have found that even 1 can of soda a day can invoke such symptoms.

Hope I helped

I discovered self-worth by using discovering to bounce. I gained experience and greater self assurance every time I discovered a clean dance step. Very quickly all that self assurance I had geared up up all started over flowing into something of my existence.

I use to be one that had no self confidence. I dont really know how it happened but my sister inlaw helped me. She made me want to have self confidence. I guess i just woke up by putting it into practice.

Accomplish something. Win a sport game or get a work promotion or get the highest grade on a test (work or school?), etc. Prove your worth.

Join your local chapter of Toastmasters International. Learn to speak in front of an audience. They won't kid you or be judgemental. They're in the same boat as you're in.
