1985 Cadillac Eldorado...Can the back of the front seat be adjusted? What is lever behind seat for?

I believe the lever behing the seat is for a lumbar support. I don't think that year had a back of seat adjustment

I used to own a 1983 Eldo with the 8-6-4 cylinder reduction technology to save the gas,, they are such fine cars !
