We are all created equall in the eyes of a higher power. The american constitution says, " we are given life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. The opportunity to be happy which we must work at.

Attitudes toward minorities are made man edicts based on fear, superstition, bigotry, meaness, etc.

The term "minorities" is a man made logical construct created by
humans to have power over other humans. I do not see minorities in the country. I see free people of all races, colors, and creeds.

First of all, not everyone believes in creation. Secondly, we have minorities because it is human nature to discriminate, hence, a group of people get together and treat those that look differently in a certain way. Though we're all the same, eat the same, bleed the same, Humanity seems to look down on those different than what we're used to, our "comfort" zone, or those that are "weaker". Another thing to consider is; where are the minorities?, for example in the US, latinos are a minority, but you go to latin america, and americans are the minority. Did I make sense?

I'm not sure your question is phrased correctly. We still have "minorities" because there will always be groups--whether ethnic, racial, religious, medically challenged, etc.--who are not more than 50% of the people.

As to "created equal," that refers to equal before the law. It doesn't mean we are all the same height, or all look the same, or have the same talents.

Minority status isn't necessarily based on personal attributes, rather, it's based on the dominant ideology of the majority (those in power). In addition, if there are fewer people of a certain demographic category, they would be characterized as the minority by definition.

Minorities are entitled to the same rights and liberties as the majority. Discrimination against them is a result of ignorance. Not creation.

Minorities...hmmm, have to be careful with this one. To me, this would sound like the country's culture we live in. To some it is different, to others it is not so. IMHO however, it seems that this word means the lower people on the "totem pole".

There's no such thing as "being created equal." Fortunately everyone is special in some kind of way, it just takes longer for some to realize this than others !!

minority does not mean unequal...go back to school...

a minority could just mean there are less people of a specific race, nationality or faith etc in a particular area compared to the majority of the population.

most of you people don't understand its like saying if there is a basket full of apples with only one orange it means the apples are being mean or unjust to the orange..you idiots all it means is that the orange does not make up the majority...

and read the question it does not make sense...oh my God is jakejc795 and me the only intelligent ones here?

all ARE created EQUAL.
it's all about how people perceive it.
Just because a group of people sees another group of people as minority or less worthy, doesn't mean it's true- it's THEIR opinion, and THEIR opinion only.
Just like Christianity- Just because the CHURCH endorced the Enquisition and other horrible things, doesnt' mean that's what the Bible says.
