Well, the answers above me are correct but I will add, if you handled you ball after it ate that could also be a reason. I don't touch mine for 2-3 days depending on what she ate at the time. Hopefully that does not happen again for you. I'll bet it was pretty gross to clean up!

Could me any number of reasons.
Too cold ~ check to make sure the cage was warm enough. Stressed~ if you have recently moved your snake to a new cage, a different area of the house, changed his bedding or if there is more than 1 snake in the cage or even if you handled your snake too soon after feeding(wait 1-2 days before handling)
Too large of a meal~ you will need to offer a smaller item. If the meal was the same size as usual, it was probably one of the other reasons stated.

Wait 7 days before offering food again. If he regurgitates again, he may be sick and you should check with a vet.

Good Luck!

Snakes sometimes regurgitate when they are afraid. If it only happens once and the snake goes back on it's feed next week, I wouldn't worry too much. Just make sure that it has peace and quiet for a day after you feed it.

There could be a lot of reasons. Do you feed it frozen mice or live? If frozen, it may not have been thawed enough. If the room is too cold the snake cannot digest it, so maybe that's why~!

you could have fed it to much food. there are lots of reasons why your snake might have been sick. you could go on google and type in : "ball pythons" and you should get some good websites up which should answer your question.
