How do you think that the time I spend here in Yahoo answers will affect the way that I think?

The brain is like the body - it grows stronger and more capable by exercise. If you are looking at difficult questions and trying to come up with the best answer you can, then you are definitely exercising your mind, and your thinking will become more able to see the key points and how they relate to the situation.
Then, there are questions you wonder about and ask. This can actually be better exercise because it's generally easier to find the answer to a question than it is to form a good question. (you have something to start with). Just by asking this question you have opened and activated your mind. It's a good question too.
Of course, trivial questions will have trivial results...
Here's a thought for you. Questions open the mind to a subject, while answers close the door on the particular subject.

Well.. If I were to form an opinion on you based on the question you have asked, I would say you are looking for enlightenment. There fore you would be gaining a great deal. With your new knowledge, you could then help others. This site can also give people the perspective of other people, and allow them to see where someone else is coming from. It also gives the opportunity to debate things, allowing you to be more quick on your toes... In other words, increases your brains capability.

Good question... I have found it valuable in helping me use much of the knowledge I have that I wouldn't be able to work into a normal conversation on my best of days!... and it's REALLY helpful for me to find answers to things I need or just want to know... so in terms of how our thinking could be affected... It would say... to the positive.

well I have to say. if your mind is closed to anything new chances are you will have No changes. but if you open your mind to new things such as this . you may very well have gained new Insite on any given subject that is here and avalibul. soo pay attention it cost nothing . I hope this helps you think better and opens your mind .

We're all different. You might see this as fun, something to do when your bored, somewhere to get help, ect.... It all depends on you.
