Being a Jaguars fan, Jones-Drew has been a key aspect of the Jaguars balanced running core. Hes been getting a good deal of yards and a heck of a good return specialist. Do you guys think hes getting any spotlight or will he in the near future and also do you think Taylor will be gone and Jones-Drew be in his place next year?

Oh yeah.

He's a strong candidate for rookie of the year. Most people don't give any credit to Fred Taylor. Of the two, he's getting even fewer accollades.

MJD looks to be a serious force. He's got all the potential in the world, ala Tiki Barber, Warrick Dunn.

I suspect that he'll have to stop retunring punts at some point, given how valuable he is.

The spot light increases on him every week. He'll get his due...

I think Taylor will get one more year before MJD pushes him out...

The last question will be how durable the little dude is. If he can take some serious punishment, he could put of some sick numbers.

I think he's getting some but not nearly enough...he is the best RB out of this draft and he is averaging over 6 yards per carry!!! Thats pretty frickin amazing. Everyone is caught up on Reggie Bush who has been a very good player and athlete but as a RB he has been horrible. Bush is only averaging 3.2 ypc and he is getting more touches than Jones-Drew...Jones-Drew also has 9 rushing TD's if im not mistaken.

Top rookie RB's

Jones-Drew (Jax)
Maroney (NE)
Norwood (ATL)

This kid deserves much more credit....

As a UCLA fan, I know for a fact that he was highly under-rated last year while still at UCLA. It didn't help that Reggie Bush was getting all the attention on the other side of town. Well, I'm glad he's having a good year in the NFL, I was really hoping he would have stayed one more year but, oh well. It makes me happy that he's out performing Reggie Bush, and people are actually noticing.

Maurice Drew is one of the best rookies in the NFL. Not so sure he could handle the beating of 20+ carries per game week in, week out. So I side with the Jags keeping both he and Fred Taylor.

jones drew is the more advantageous suited all round decrease back, yet taylor has continuously been a consistent workhorse (even as he replaced into healthful anways). im going with taylor in elementary words because jones drew hasnt been the function decrease back yet, he hasnt had the journey of being a starter week in and week out like taylor has. once he does, and is effectual as he's now, then i ought to bypass with jones drew

Being a USC fan, I was highly skeptical of Jones-Drew's ability to succeed in the NFL. But I will have to say that he is very impressive. Without him on the team, they would be in the gutter. Lets see how long he lasts though..
