They normally very evenly, but they more often pass because runners can slip in the mud.

The old rule of thumb is you want to run the ball in the rain or snow. It's because the rain and snow make the ball more slippery to catch and also messes with the flight of the ball. Now with the better quarterbacks, better gloves and the west coast offense (short passing) there is much more passing than the older days (which didn't like the pass to begin with). I think in the rain the attemps will be 60% running and 40% passing instead of 55% running and 45% passing.

Going back to the AAFC, the league has fought mightily against competition - in the merger with the AAFC, the stats of that league still don't count for anything - so an essential ingredient in commerce is frowned upon by club owners who made their money through it. Those lines are blurred now, but traditional clubs like the Giants and Packers have always stood for the real old-school of the NFL.

it usually depends on the coach, but traditonally they run. the rain. throwing the ball usually
!)will impare the vision of the QB,
2)the QB tend to hold on the ball a bit longer while they throw so the ball will not slip out early, so they tend to under throw balls
3) Looking over the sholder to try to catch the ball often ends up with the WR falling because he is not paying attention to his footing
4) ball is harder to catch when it is wet.
5) fumbling

when running the ball the only risk you run really is
1) fumbleing the ball
2) loose footing

so their are more risks throwing the ball than running, and coaches tend to run more

if the coach is smart, he would run more than pass. with more and more QBs wearing gloves on both hands when its cold outside, they dont throw as good as they do without the gloves. they could throw downfield, but not as much. i love watching/playing football in the rain because it makes the defense show how good it really is against the run.

depends on how much it's raining,if its a downpour they'll
scale it down conciderably.remember the chiefs/oakland
game in 2002.it was symbolic of their whole
season.sloppy, slow, filthy and when time expired, over.

depends on the coach and the players on the team, usually they cut back on the deep passes and try to keep things shorter, other than that they keep it pretty much the same

if i were a coach i would try to put it in the air at first to get some points on the board. then control the clock by running..
