Yes it is !
as a scotswoman there nothing better than a wedding on a rainy day with lots of puddles you can have fly peeks up the kilts of the men by looking in the puddles then sit in corners later and compare sightings usually most disappointing though but its a laugh lol

John S says all of it! I too am a Texas Piper, and you would be able to wander away in all that wool, oftentimes 8 yards (24 ft) nicely worth of a few weight (to no longer point out the buckles, belt and sporran). it relatively is relaxing to circulate regimental to the pub, yet whilst your walking around all day, it may get slightly uncomfortable being slightly breezy down there. maximum could think of it may be large, even nonetheless it commonly gets sweaty and tangled. From my Kilt kinfolk, we are think to go away that ingredient a secret. Oddly it relatively is the traditional American who cherishes the theory that Kilted Scotsmen must be regimental. Scots do no longer particularly care. lots of the international would not care. it relatively is in simple terms human beings who want issues well understood in continually maintained be it delusion or in simple terms about delusion. in simple terms ask the French, they have some nicely held stereotypes besides that human beings anticipate.

I don't know for sure and certain....but I got up my nerve once at a Scottish Festival, when flirting with a really cute fella, and dared to ask "the question".
"I'm a man of few words, lass....give me your hand and I'll show you."
I blushed redder than the kilt. He roared!
(No, I didn't!)
Another fast comeback you might hear, to "what does a Scotsman wear under his kilt?"
"Lipstick."
This usually gives the Highlander enough time to escape, while the questioner is saying "Huh??!?" and processing the answer.

We have a huge Scotish Festival here every fall, saw this sign there one year:
You ask
what is worn under my kilt?
I say
Nothing is worn,
it is all in good condition

Depends. Sometimes the weight of the sporran on the fabric can cause a bit of chaffing. Pass the savlon and talcum powder...
