Between working outside had having to wash my hands a lot ( 3 puppies, lots of messes), my hands are really chapped. I use Burt's Bees and various hand lotions, but nothing seems to really work. What is a really good lotion i can get somewhere like Bath and Body or Walmart

I live in the desert, and I have battled dry skin every day since I moved here. I've tried about everything. I've found that the best lotion is Johnson's Softlotion. It's a 24 hour moisturizer (actually. more like 16 hours), it's not greasy, and it has a pleasant, very light scent. They also have a extra moisturizing formula. It's inexpensive, you can buy it anywhere, and it really works.

For really chapped hands with cracks and sores, I would use Glysolid. It comes in a can which is more like a balm but they have lotions. You can maybe find this in a salon or cvs or walgreens. It depends. (AWESOME ON DRY CRACKED HEELS ALSO) But if your hands arent that bad, you can use Heel and Toe (which is a foot and leg lotion, but we use it on hands and it works miracles) You can pick that up at Sally's Beauty Supply for $5 for a big bottle with a pump. They work awesome.

I wouldn't recommend lotions from Bath and Body just because they are more about fragrance than moisturizing the skin. If you want something cheap and really good I would recommend Jergens and Vaseline lotions that you can get at any drug store.

Bath and Body works thick cream works really well, its about ten bucks for a big container. I use it in winter, REALLY dry skin. Don't use the regular lotion from there though, that stuffs crap

olay quench, hands down. i used to get horrible dry skin, i work in a prison and i am absolutely addicted to waterless hand sanitizer--add winter dry skin on top of that and that was me. i used to use 4-5 different lotions for smell, effectiveness, etc. use quench for a week and you will never buy another lotion again, promise.

idk what is reasonable to you. I use Archipelago's oat milk line and it's amazing! Their Oat Body Creme No. 3 works really well, I use it on my hands and they are super soft and moisturized.
