Are you seriously that out of it, or do they not have Christianity where you're from?

"Christ" is from the Greek word "Christos," which means "Saviour." So when people call him Jesus Christ, they are saying "Jesus the Savior," just like saying Ivan the Terrible or Alexander the Great or Kermit the Frog.

Jesus couldn't celebrate Christmas... he was born as a good Jewish boy and observed Jewish customs for almost 30 years before realizing he was the "son of God" and beginning his ministry. To him, it was just a birthday. It wasn't until long after his death that people started commerorating every special day related to him.

Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus birth it was sometime in Sept. And Christ is who he is not a name. I could send you more info if you really want to know the Truth about Christmas. Jesus was a Jew and Christmas came hundreds of years after his death.

No, Christmas was made up to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Christmas is a Christian Holiday (with some Pagan elements), and Jesus was Jewish.

Christmas didn't exist until after Jesus died...It is the celebration of his birth, although we all know that December 25th isn't really his birthday. This was created by Christians after his death, so he couldn't have celebrated it.

2000 years ago, people didn't have last names. He would have been referred to as Jesus of Nazareth, or Jesus, son of Joseph.

Jesus did not celebrate his own birth, and Christ is a title, not a last name.

no longer meant in an argumentative tone....yet we would desire to remember that Jesus on no account stopped being God......he did no longer end being God whilst He became guy. it relatively is an significant huge difference. you will possibly no longer have meant it that way, even nonetheless it form of got here upon erroneously once you suggested he 'went back' to being God.....If Jesus is God he's eternal...He on no account will become something yet God, and whilst He became guy he remained God. God Incarnate.
