Ok,I have gym,and I have to wear shorts in the class 4 basketball and I have been wearing short short shorts,and everytime I run,I get the felling that my shorts are flying up and then I hold them down,and I run slower! So what can I do?

what does this have to do with swimming and diving?
You should wear longer shorts or wear spandex under the shorts

get longer shorts. like basketball shorts are suppose to go up to your knees. but if u dont want them that long just get them short enough for your taste and long enough so that nothing is showing and your confortable. hope that helps.

Try to get comfortable longer gym shorts.That always works.

The best thing I would tell you is to get some new shorts or borrow somebody else's.

either wear longer shorts, trak pants, sporty caprees, or sweats when you run instead.
