No, it is a barbaric practice that has been outlawed in most countries.
Personally, if I had to choose between getting life in prison and getting executed, I'd choose execution. It's an easy way out. Murderers should have to rot in prison and regret what they did day in and day out for the rest of their lives, in my opinion.

Yes. Unlike others I do not view life in prison as a legitimate means of punishment. While prison is a living hell essentially, it makes no sense to keep a bad person around. If a person commits a crime such as murder they need to be removed from society. Elimination of this murderer, costs less money than a life sentence. It removes the possibility of escape or parole, where the murderer could harm again. Once a person commits such a crime or a similarly offensive one, I feel they forfeit their right to live. We need to hold people accountable for their actions and set an example for everyone else to see. Society is a better place without these misfits. I not only support the death penalty, but feel that it needs to be used more frequently.

I DO! Expecially for Child Molesters and Rappist! I would hate the death penalty to become over used however and too widely excepted where the standards of who recieves the Death Penalty go down.

Not only do I believe in it, but I believe that those sentenced to Death Row should be given a total of 30 days (from sentencing) to wrap up their personal affairs, say their goodbyes, and then be executed. No more of this 19-years-on-the-row crap, sucking the honest taxpayer's money for nothing.
My only stipulation would be that any person fitting that criteria must also have been found guilty beyond ANY shadow of a doubt.

Yes. I think the death penalty is necessary in some cases. I think there are some crimes that are so heinous that a person should be put down.

BIG NO. i dont believe that anyone has the right to take anyone's life unless you are defending yourself or your country. it is obvious this person needs help, death penalty is there because no one wants to pay the taxes to keep him/her in jail. In my humble opinion, taking away a lifetime of freedom is way enough.

Yes. Some people deserve to die after what they have done. They should be put out of society's misery, instead of staying in jail killing more people.

I can't say that I don't even though I'm mostly liberal because if one of my family members was murdered I'd want vengence.
I try to be as un-hypocritical as possible.
