Wait a minute. I am 11 in the 8th grade and I am going shopping for my first bra in February. I was practically flat in 5th grade but now I think I am a 28aa. I am getting padded bras but if you're too flat and you wear a padded bra they'll notice and think you're fake it is your decision so take your time but trust me a bra is a burden so do not be in a hurry. good luck. please pick me as best answer.

Hey, don't worry about your chest. It will come in time and then you'll be sick of it. :p

Yeah, I think people will notice if you wear a padded bra because you'll show up to school the next day with these lumps on your chest that weren't there yesterday.

In the 5th grade I had the opposite problem. I already had a big chest (for a 5th grader, anyway), and I got teased by the other girls. So I think it's pretty hard to win either way.

If you'd like to talk more about it, feel free to send me a message.

You're in the 5th grade! Don't wear a padded bra. You're friends will be able to figure it out, especially when your breasts start to grow. You'll be humiliated. Trust me. Teenagers can be so mean. Just don't do it. You should be concentrating on more things in life than your boob size.

Yes, padded bras are very stiff. Don't worry so much about growing, enjoy not having to wear a bra--it isn't as fun as it seems and before you know it you will have to wear one all the time.

My daughter is in 7th grade and is just now having to wear a bra or undershirt all the time. She prefers wearing an undershirt, because she gets itchy wearing a bra.

Well, they will probably notice that yesterday you had nothing, and today you've got boobs. Other than the drastic size change, nobody will notice. However if you wear tight tops, they may crush some of the padding in the bra, and it will look funny.

But why worry about it, you're more than a pair of boobs attached to a body, so why would you want somebody to notice you only becuase of the size of your chest?

dont ware a padded bra
you should start with a training bra

they will eventually grow
some girls develop slower than others
be patient the time will come when you are ready

I thought that in 5th grade, girls were training bras.

Honestly, I would hold off on that. If I saw a 5th grader with a big chest, I wouldn't believe it.
