That's a tough question. The word 'suffer' originally meant to undergo or carry on or even to endure but over time we've attached to the word an energy of pain, grief, etc. My first thought upon reading your question was, 'No" but in some ways suffering is inherent. I don't suffer from physical or emotional pain but in a sense I suffer from not knowing best how to help bring a harmonious atmosphere to the planet. I suffer somewhat empathetically when I know another is in pain but at the same time I understand pain as part of a process so, even though I feel for the person in pain, I'm detached from it and looking at means of alleviating the discomfort.
A lot of words and no direct answer. Do you suffer? I'd like to hear your answer to your question if you are so inclined.
Thanks :-)

Yes!
The true Christian suffers, for as Christ experienced His Passion and Resurrection, all His followers must do the same.
But there is an amazing paradox in such Christian suffering.
With it comes Christ's peace and an inner joy.
The closer one comes to Christ, the deeper the suffering - but also the deeper the meaning perceived in it.
One always receives grace and strength proportioned to the trial.
It is totally unlike the suffering of those who live for this world alone, in which that suffering is pure frustration and torment blocking the way to happiness.
But with the paradox of Christian suffering, one can suffer and not experience dissatisfaction in one's being (as is necessary with one apart from Christ).

Yes. I suffer from idiotic questions that most people could or at least should care less about. Even if I did suffer from a physical or psycological standpoint I sure as hell wouldn't be airing my problems in an open venue such as this for all to see.

I suffer with great anguish because my countries parliament time of one minute costs 440 $ of taxpayers money. Our politicians
waste nearly 90% of the days in Staging walk outs and protest rallies. The finance minister is about to introduce breathing tax in the next session of the parliament. So how can i not suffer?

Yes, terribly.
My mother passed away from cancer, and I spent 2 weeks at her bedside holding her hand, and we hardly talked. I knew little about how she felt, and realized after she passed away that I no longer had an opportunity to talk to her. This is a pain that eats away at me every single day.
She was an alcoholic, and I spent much of her life criticizing her and yelling at her. I am surprised that this suffering has not killed me yet. She was a gentle lady who loved everyone, and was my biggest cheerleader, and it is too late for me to tell her that I love her and appreciated everything she did, regardless of her addiction.
I hope someone reads this and learns what I learned, soon enough to really talk to their loved ones before they are gone.
