I have always hated Yoko ever since.
Although I think they had just grown apart (the Beatles) after 10+ years together.
I never cared for Paul and "Granny Music" either. In the days of Beatlemania they wrote great tunes together, when the started writing separately you could tell John was the rock and roller, psychedelic, and Paul was the Pop start, George was so under rated at the time, but a very good guitar player and growing into a very good tune writer himself (something, my guitar gently weeps...). Georges first solo triple album was composed mostly of songs that the other guys would not let him include on the Beatles records, and was hugely successful. Ringo was a nice guy, drummer and could also sing.
Song (supposedly) Paul made the announcement to promote his solo effort and 'steal' Johns spotlight.
I like almost everything they did, especially through Please Please Me to Revolver .
I personally am one of the very few people that think Sgt Pepper sucks.
I love Magic Mystery tour as a psychedelic album. I find Peppers songs weak and over-rated.
The "White Album" goes from one song that sucks to one that is great, wildly erratic. That I think signaled the end, as John later quoted it was basically John with the Beatles or Paul with Beatles,as backup bands, no longer working together.
The get back sessions could have been great if Phil Spector had been kept away. I also wish the police had let them record more, what a great idea it was.
Abby road showed the potential that was still there if they could have continued together...As one of their producers said, it was too bad that by the time they were able to play and write their best they hated each other.
