I believe that women should be every bit as equal as men. I believe that they have every right a man has. Women deserve more respect, it is true! However, I'm sick of some of their outrageous ideas and attitudes, such as abortion and criticizing and bashing men on the heads...some of these feminists are being sexists towards men...are they contradicting their ideas? they didnt like it when men didnt ttreat them with respect, and now theyre not treating men with respect? women should be equal, but feminists are making me sick these days. What do you think? FEMINISTS FOR LIFE ALL THE WAY!

I support the FEMINISTS FOR LIFE, not the pro choice feminists...feminists for life hit the hammer right on the nail, and they will make changes that will benefit women in society...feminists for choice are just lowering the standards of this great country! :-)

I have to agree with you. Strong, powerful women are beautiful. However, when words of constant hatred of the male species are spewing forth from their mouths it just totally ruins it. They are totally contradicting the cause they're rallying. These are not feminists, these are what we call 'man haters'. =)

I agree that some women have taken femenism and become the very thing they were fighting against. I don't believe that to respect and embrace the femenine, you need to abuse or disregard men. That would just be putting ourselves at the level of those we were fighting against.

But abortion is not really a femenist issue. It's a human issue and a choice no sane, natural woman will ever make lightly or without repercussion of some sort. But I do believe it's a very PERSONAL choice that only a woman really has a right to make, as SHE is the one who will live with the consecuences of it either way. And having grown up unwanted and unloved, I cannot say that having had me was the best or kindest choice my mother could have made for me. I believe the body is only a house for the spirit. If one is destroyed, another can take its place.

This is not a femenist idea. It's simply a compassionate idea, for I do not feel I have the right to judge this choice in any woman.

Most die hard feminists are male haters for whatever reason. I hate the fact that the world thinks all women are like that and treat us that way. by the way a few years back, i got my equity pay from the governement from over 20 years ago for the same job as a man. in canada all those that worked for less than a male in the same job got retro pay from the day of hire. it was a good day here in canada for all women. I agree with equal pay and respect for all human beings.

I am a women and i almost agree with you, But women should stay at home and take care of the family, while men go out and earn a living for them, It's crazy that both parents work all day and the only reason it's necessary is because of the feminist movement, Thats why there's so much craziness today and kids run wild.

I agree with you that it is silly for women to absoulutely HATE men and verbally bash them--it is hypocritical. Equal means equal and people (men and women) should adhere to that.

However, in regards to the abortion issue, you make it sound like feminists WANT abortions--like they think people should have abortions just for the sake of showing the world they can do it. For your information, pro-choice feminists do not think like that--psychos think like that. Pro-choice feminists think only that it should be a choice for the woman and not for the government. Abortion IS a moral choice after all--and morals are personal. Aside from giving a society a general code of conduct, the government has no right to make moral choices for its citizens.

Too many man-hating women hiding behind the term "feminist". There's a big difference between the two. I just don't get how people have let them get away with it. I mean, it's right ther in front of the world and nobody says anything.

Well its not neccessarily about abuse or contradiction.
There are different sects of feminism.
One type is called radical feminism where the division of gender (not sex) should be divided equally among the sexes. That means predominately masculine and more influential traits should be held by more women. This constitutes your "man bashing."
It's what people believe. There's nothing wrong with it. More power to them. Its not wrong or right.

You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. As a feminist (and pro-choice) I'll respect your opinion in direct contrast to your statement. I ask you to do the same...

Try and understand that not everyone agrees with you and shares your opinion. It's a big world and people's opinions are going to differ than yours and sometimes you are not going to like their opinions. I understand your frustration in this, but you need to realize that these women are not a threat to you in any shape, way or form. They merely want to live their lives by their own ideals and beliefs, not yours, and your ideals and beliefs are not the end-all, be-all of existence.

I don't bash men. I'm not sexist. I do believe in my right to choose and I'm not alone in this. I'm not sure what other "outrageous ideas and attitudes" you are speaking of, but I can only guess that you feel threatened by women who want to live by differently than how you think they should.

Don't take it so personal. I know it's hard. I have to force myself not to take anti-choicers beliefs personal. I have to tell myself that it's not about me, it's about them and their ideals and beliefs. We just don't agree and that's ok! It's ok to disagree with others on these things. It's not ok to hate and be a bigot.
