Despite the fact that it's my birthstate, and where I do a lot of contract work, I would NOT want to live in California.

Don't get me wrong. There are a lot of great things to see & do in Cali, but there are just wayyyyy too many negatives for me to settle down there.

Earthquakes, mudslides, fires, riots, rising crime rates, one of the crappiest economies in the states, horrible politik, the egos, the racism, the pollution (though it's better up north in places), the illegal immigration war...the list goes on and on.

Kansas. Nothing to see and nothing to do. I like the state next door though. The mountains of Colorado are beautiful.

I'd rather live among decent people.

mountains and large bodies of water are definitely preferable.

oklahoma. its filled with nothing but cockroaches, and very bad drivers. those idiots have no clue how to drive. its also too flat.
