I am in a situation where I feel really sad lonely for having a strong connection with someone else other than my better half. I am in a good marriage; granted we have had our share of fights but we are working more harder to make our marriage work; but my feelings for this other person is just strong. I have not cheated physically; but I guess in essence, emotionally I already did.

It is just this clinging sadness for having this emotion for someone else other than my husband.

The way I handle these things is by being realistic, acknowledging my emotions, and recognizing that just because I'm married it doesn't mean I'm emotionally dead to the rest of the world. There will be people from my past and present whom I might be attracted to... but it's a part of life. By facing my feelings and accepting them, I make them less threatening, and it's easier to just move on and be content with what I have.

I feel for you cause I am in the same exact shoe and I can't even talk to my hubby about this who I know will get all wierd and unacceptable. have you talked to this other guy? do you think this may help though? I think accepting your emotion, observing it, looking at it and taking it into your heart and understanding it is just a part of life is probably the way to go. good luck for this and let's hang on to it!

Hit yourself in the head with a hammer... that should distract you.

You are a sad excuse for a wife...thank god you're not mine.
