I always go with the opposite color(s).

Green-ish eyes look great with gold or gold-toned eyeshadows. Or browns (olive-y browns).

Taupe eyeshadow would probably look great, too.

easily, you want little to no makeup because you already of a captivating face with staggering efficient aspects! If something i'd do a skinny brown or black line of creme eyeliner on the accurate, and midway in on your waterline on the bottom of your eye. once you position on black eyeliner i'd coat your eyelashes sevral circumstances with mascara and curl them 2 circumstances..... with your eyes go heavy duty on the mascara. Now for the eyeshadows. i'd stick with the earthy and suddle colorings of infant pinks, a impartial brown eye ( the city decay bare palette is suitable for this) or i'd positioned a shimmery or effective/toned coloration paintpot from MAC..... those ought to nicely be utilized as bases or primers, or maybe an eyeshadow.... maximum if the colors are impartial, darkish, or shimmery yet they're captivating as purely eyeshadows too. in case you do take position to positioned on to blush, no pinks! the picture of a shimmery basic red! they have a pair at sephora........ As for bronzer i'd positioned them on your cheekbones and a touch good decrease than your eyes! good luck and stay captivating

I read somewhere that darker colors(blue, dark brown) should be worn on people with darker features, and lighter, less visible colors(pink, lighter brown) for people with lighter features.

i have green eyes and i have the covergirl 3-tone pack with three greens in it. use the darker one on your lids and the middle one for contour. overlap them a little bit and blend the contour so you dont have a harsh line. enjoy!!
