If you consider 'General Tommy Franks' as a famous person !
He was my commanding officer when I was stationed in Bamberg , West Germany at 2nd Battalion 78th Field Artillery from October'82 to Dec.'83 ! I knew him as a Lt. Colonel !
The Country Comedian Jerry Clower was another fellow
I met & he was also famous, too !

I met Johnny Carson by accident. He is from Nebraska and just so happened to be here in Omaha for something, and I ran into him. I shook his hand.
I met Warren Buffett(the Billionare buddy of Bill Gates), here in Omaha at his favorite steakhouse. He actually lives pretty close to me though.
I also met most of the cast of the Red Green show while I was up in Toronto.
Oh! and Paige Davis from Trading spaces was hear in town too, I met her in the lobby of the Orpheum theater after her performance of Chicago as Roxy Hart.

Jack Nicholson filmed that movie called "About Schmidt" in my little Omaha neighborhood, but I never got to see him ,and Mathew Broderick and Reese Witherspoon where also here filming the Movie "Election" too. Never saw any of them around though, Bummer! That would have been cool to meet them.

Well, I met one minor celebrity (Malachi Cush from Fame Academy, he thinks he can sing), he lives in a quite local area, and Bill Clinton came to our villiage. By the way, I live in Northern Ireland.
