Yes.
Definitely.
More time to spend with people, go for bushwalks, develop a hobby that I like, read more, become an artist, collect photos of rare plants that I take my self,
Unbelievable amount of free time, comparing to watching television and just be absorbed with what other people dish out to you.
Instead of watching other peoples life’s on TV, make your own better and live it.

Yes. About twelve years ago and I am 23 now. Our TV broke and we did not by a new one for years. When did get a new TV, I found that I did not have time to watch it. There were so many more important things to do. When I moved from my father and mothers house I decided not to have a TV in my house.
Quiting TV is not all good. You need to find alternitive ways to recive news and to stay in touch with society. I am not advacating tv and what happens on it, but leaving it be hind will set you apart no matter what your age.
(Sorry, I can not spell!)

I actually think my life would be better with television. Since I'm on the computer alot I rarely watch television. I can live without T.V but sadly It would be hard to live without both. ( Computer & Television )

I just recently got rid of my cable. I do not get any channels on my tv set. I find that I get a lot more accomplished. I don't spend hours in sitting in front of the tv. I also seem to have more energy because I'm actually being active.

When we built our house we decided not to hook up the tele, because we needed to get cable to watch. Our tele is just a
screen to watch dvds and to play videos, however if we ever
sell the cables are there. The internet is where we get all our
info and news much better than a tele.

My mom never allowed us to watch it all that much. As a result, my brother and I did much more creative things with our time. I still enjoy reading a good book more than watching TV. So, yes and yes.

BINGO! We have a winner! It would be nice if other people would dump the set. My kids don't even have one in the house.
