Why is the bass player for Bon Jovi not credited on thier albums?

the original bass player was fired in '95 (Alec John Such), since then Hugh Macdonald, has been playin with them, but is not an oficial member of the band, is like a back up player, he apears on the videos though. hes been playin with them as back up for year, since the 80's

Because a vast majority of Bon Jovi fans could care less about the musicians.

The original guy was fired. They are using "Hired Guns" so to speak now.
