As far as i am aware, there are no cheats for HM:FoMT... If someone has told you there are they are probably mistaken. but here are some general tips.

1. buy the bigger rucksack asap

2. get a chicken asap, once you have a chicken you can quickly fill the chicken shed by hatching the eggs, and you can improve your profit by 'Boiling' the egg in the hot-spring.

3. don't try to run a full field until you have befriended the sprites. keep your planting small until you upgrade your tools.

4. learn what crops are the most profitable (turnips may be cheap, but you can fit more crops in during the spring so you make more money overall)

5. grow grass on at least 1/4 of your field (less if you have fewer animals), this will provide free fodder for your animals with sufficient surplus to fill the silo for winter (try to spread your fodder harvesting so you don't spend all day mowing grass).

6. don't bother making your animals pregnant, its a waste of money, sure you get an animal for the price of the medicine, but you lose 3 weeks produce (milk/wool) and that adds up.

7. start the seasons asap. prepare your field early and buy the seeds as soon as possible, each day wasted is a day less profit.
