Yes and No it depends on what comes with the kit some things only work with the lite ds and the regular one. a ds lite carrying case will be too small for a regular ds for example but if it comes with a stylus that will work for both.

no sorry i tried myself i tried to stick a lite stick in my normal ds and it didnt word same as any lite object sorry :'(
