I didn't have any project worth 75% of my grade. Because I am in Grade 8. But I'll probably gonna get project like that in Grade 10.

Mine was a bit different...

11th grade shop class 80% for 1 project...

I chose to do the engine rebuild...
Went to the Local Junk Yard got a Junk Ford 302 Small Block
Completely tare it down to every part laid out on the table or floor and rebuild it and get it running on the homemade dyno... Including doing my own valve job...
Hard part was I had to know bore and stroke, Cam size and why, learn how to use the valve grinding machine... Then present it as in paper report to the class... Past life, Rebuild, and Power vs MPG

71 302ci made 285hp with junk 4bl
change to teachers Holley 4bl and intake made 298 hp

I miss that class... 1982/83

I've only ever had a project be worth 70% of my grade, and that wasn't until college.

College. C Programming term project. I picked a good one, teacher told me not to do it 'cause if it didn't work, then I would fail the whole class. I got an A+.

i'm a highschool senior and the highest i've ever had a project be for a grade was 60%
