Think "F*** her!" and that that person is not the most important person in your life. You just have to learn to move on. Forget the past. Get a good antidepressant/mood stablizer if you are really bothered.

Basically, find the best reason so to why that person is not worth your time or your thoughts. There are 6 billion people in the world. come on? you cannot make a new friend? You always can. You simply do not need people who do not streamline your life. Have no regrets or remorse! Move on! The chick will always come back, if you get your point across that she dont matter! She just wants to matter!! Dont give her that! Never give anyone that! Ignore them! Get a new friend! a new girl friend! a new contact!

Remove anything that may remind you of contacting them. Delete that phone number. Send the emails to the trash can. Any items that have given you for sentimental value, throw them out! You go boy! Now you keep at this! you will get over them. She isnt your problem, anymore. Let some other loser take care of her.

U can't. If they were an important part of ure life, then u will always and forever remeber them. And u shuldnt try to forget people. Memories are precious, because we'll never be able to copy it and print it. I dunt think time helps to erase people, because I remember someone from when I was 3 years old, and I still remember them with exact detail, because they were a big part of my life, and a BIG BIG part. Now that theyre gone, although I remember their face, and their personality, it makes me sad that I can't seem to remember any of my memories with them. However, I think there is a way to forget someone. The only way, is if that person didn't play a big role in ure life. The mind strays alot, and I guarantee that you'll remember the person sometime in ure life, if u were close to them.

You have to move on first, and eventually you forget them. First you have to make an effort to stop reminding yourself of the person by getting rid of or putting away things related to them. Then you get busy doing other things and fill your life with interesting activities and hobbies. You're most likely have stray thoughts of the person, but in time, you won't have any emotional response to those thoughts.

Time takes care of that. As new things enter your life and new activites take up your time, time spent thinking about people you knew in the past diminshes greatly.

I don't think you can ever completely eliminate thinking about someone, but there are people who were important to me 20 years ago, that I think of only maybe once a week or once a month, depending on what triggers the memories.

Busy yourself with other things to do, when ever that person pops into your mind think about anything else that you can.. It is like exercising a muscle, soon you will find that it becomes easier and easier to forget, to the point that you ...forget.
