What is a good way to get a job?

I just turned 16 I am looking for a job in Delaware can anyone help me

It depends on what job you want. First, know what you want to do. Second, have confidence in your skills and in your ability to do the job. Third, put together a good resume and have somebody with experience help you out on this one. Also, practice your interviewing skills with a trusted friend or confidante. If you want something that will last until college, I suggest you visit companies in a field that interests you. See if they will take you on a volunteer basis. If you prove to be a good worker, they will make an offer to you if a part-time position opens up.

Hospitals and law firms need tons of clerks, too, so be sure to check them out, too.

Tell everyone you know that you are looking. They will know of any job openings where they work. When you hear of a position you might be suited for, apply. Make sure your CV is legible and coherent. No spelling mistakes!

Also there is the Internet, the newspaper, governement postings, etc.

Go around to places and ask for an application, fill it out (properly!!) and give it to the manager.
At 16, you will be limited to restaurants, grocery stores, or possibly retail stores, so start there first.

Oh--dress nicely, speak well--no slang, dirty, ripped clothes, or extreme hair or make-up, and hide your tattoos & piercings.
