I heard it was rainning and pouring in Seattle. There was electical problem during the pregame show. I don't have cable or NFL Network Channel at home I just read the results online.

I agree that Alex Smith did step up, for the last three games, he did not step up because he had intercept passes, turnovers, fumbles and the defense is not covering wide open receivers or stopping a player from scoring.

Alex smith is finally stepping up. I think Alex Smith has a bright future, but it won't be soon. i think what he did last night was a sample of what he can do, however given the right conditions. Smith does not have the most powerful arm, but he is learning alot. alex smith is a really smart guy, compared to alot of QBs but he's not smart in a football way yet. he is well on his way, especially with the help of norv turner. in a few more years, this type of performance will probably a regular thing for him.

I love Alex smith, he really played great in Seattle. Also, he also has good attitude..... I dont know why everyone gives him a hard time. He's only been in the league for two years and already had two offensive systems (McCarthy and Norv). He is still the younger then Cutler, Lienert, and Vince Young. Give him time, he'll adjust, like he did last night. The future looks good if they can be consistent on the d'side...the draft should help that out.

lol same question in a lil bit diff words from bout an hour ago, but i'll answer same as before, as long as they d'ont loose any one in the offseaon, (key guyz that is) and they get one really good DT and maybe a CB or safety, either in the draft or free agents they will be the top of there div. with a 100% healthy seattle team, and as long smith keeps getting better and gore does what he does, oh yeha and a true #1 WR they have two very good #2 guyz but really neither is a ture #1 there DT are ok but no size in there with talent on the team, K. lewis is looking pritty good to me and young roman is ok but they need better, and harris is having a career year but lets get real he is to slow and getting old to be there guy for years to come, they need some one younger and faster to keep up with some of these faster WRs today....
p.s. i've been a niner fan since the montana dayz, and when they were bad last few years true blue for life here

Niners are going to take the division.

Here's how:

Next week Seattle plays the Bolts. Yeah, right! Seatlle is going to get gang banged. SF only has to take on the lowly Cardinals, and they are going to be fired up and know that they have a shot and making the playoffs. The Cardinals will get slapped harder than an Oakland ho who shows up with half a days money.

The next week, SF has a tougher challenge in Denver, but with Larry Allen clearing holes, Alex Smith playing hard and Gore running like his shoes are on fire they will pull out the win. They'll end the year 8 and 8.

Seattle goes onto Tampa Bay, their hopes for the season crushed, wondering if they are overrated. Chucky will rally the bucs so they can walk out of their last game of the year with heads held high. Seattle will fall to an inspired D. They will also end the season 8-8.

SF goes to the playoffs with the division because they swept the hawks in the regular season.

And then we just take it one game at a time. Can we beat Chicago or New Orleans in the post season? Maybe, maybe not. But no one is going to be laughing at us anymore.

Go Niners! And... go bucs!

I think Alex Smith is a long way off from becoming a legit player. He only threw for 160 something yards, hardly a stellar outing. I think he was mostly lucky. Frank Gore on the other hand, much to my fantasy team's dismay, is a stud that should help the 49'ers build a team. They have come a long way since last year, but are a long way from becoming a contender. I'll keep waiting to see if Alex Smith is the real deal.

Exciting as hell........Alex is a great athlete and hes going to be a great QB.......I saw him play in college and have watched almost every game he has started.....The kid is special.....He reminded me a tiny bit of Steve Young in that second TD to Gore....Breaks a tackle, scrambles and hits his target....Great stuff......I had to watch that one at least a dozen times I was so excited...He showed America his skills....That we have been seeing glimmers of.......and I was happy that that niners got the win and swept the seahawks....Their future is bright.....They have some great veterans in guys like BY and Derek Smith...and they have alot of young kickass stars like Alex Smith, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Michael Robinson, Manny Lawson and many more...They are dubbing last nights game the coming out party of Alex Smith....I think thats kind of true but I think it was a coming out party for the whole team.......It was a brilliant second half.....The team works their asses off and I was so damn proud of them.......Buckle up niner fans the niners are on their way back up to the top....GO NINERS!

they won..that would desire to be good adequate. yet w/ davis, an immensely proficient guy, u could in simple terms want he'd close up sometimes. he's been talking multiple noise previous to this season...and he sucked. whilst he have been given suggested as out and embarrassed by making use of singletary final season and finally began to strengthen up and mature, he got here into his own and is popping out to be the TE they theory he could. he performs lots extra useful whilst he doesnt communicate smack. in simple terms close vd and play the damn sport!!!
