I would be extremely suspect of anyone who chose to identfy/symbolize him/herself as an evil murderous dictator. It would give me serious doubts about the validity of their answer and I would not encourage such people by choosing their answer so my vote is NO.

Ya I would because I'm about 99% sure that Saddam Hussain doesnt go on Yahoo answers, and even if he did I doubt he would get a best answer.

I personally don't like Hitler, but I try to understand ppl, so from their avator I would understand that they don't like certain types of ppl. I guess that's fine with me 'cause that's how humans are. About Saddam's, I don't see a problem with that. The poor president tried his best to protect his country.

It would give me pause... who can tell what is really the true expression of the person? Words lie as easily as images. As the two are combined, I'd have to conclude that both are an expression of the answerer. I would look at the person's previous answers before deciding.

yes i'd still pick theirs as best answer. i could care less what their avatar is. i'm ugly and people still choose me as best answer sometimes. hitler was a smart guy he just used his brains for bad use. a best answer is a best answer. what if you're not religious and someone has a religious pic? are you going to not choose them just because they believe something you dont? i'm looking for answers on this site not people. sure it'd be nice to make friends but i don't need to. so if youre looking for a friend then dont choose a person with a pic you dont agree with but if you're looking for answers then choose the best answer...keyword answer.

Why not? He/she answered your question and he/she is free to his/her opinions so long as it doesn't intrude with your rights (and by the sounds of it, it doesn't.) If you didn't give him/her the points it would be just as bad as if you descriminated the person for believing in Jehovah when you personally believe in Allah.)
