He won & obviously his fans got him voted as the American Idol!
BTW "babysitte..." & "Immortal Ability":
Just because his last name is Hicks & he is from Alabama doesn't mean he is one. I know people w/ "Hicks" as a last name from other parts of the country.
Fans are still behind Taylor as his CD was hard to find as it sold out rather quickly in a lot of stores.
The season 6 is OVER so the compitetion is over so it is time to quit crying over spilt milk.
Time to move on & let the upcoming season be the topic.
Looks like there are still some sore losers.
If you have a favorite then get off your @ss & vote.
Don't just "expect" your favorite to win.
That's like political voting.
If you don't vote & then we get stuck w/ a crappy President then KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT ABOUT WHAT KIND OF JOB HE IS OR ISN'T DOING!!!!!

Taylor is an all around entertainer.
He has a great voice, plays instruments, writes music, keeps his audience captive (whether you are enjoying or watching to *****, you're watching, right?), stayed TRUE to himself, sexy AND is a Southern gentleman!!
Taylor didn't lie & say he made a song his own like another contestant who was corrected the next week.
He put up with Simon saying he was like a drunked father @ a wedding & took it like a man. :o)

absolutely not. Taylor hicks i a hick! he does not have a bit of vocal talent, and acts like a drama queen. he isn't' American idol winning material, and he never will be. he has a horrible deep voice, and Chris doughtery should've won. Taylor is such a dramatizer, always banging his feet and clapping his hands on stage like a freak.

I nonetheless watch episodes often times (australian idol besides) even though it really is a stupid theory aimed in route of youthful ladies. Whoever advantages to win is under no circumstances going to... so I gave up shifting into it after the first series.

I think he was a way better singer than Katherine McPhee. I think he is talented. Also, he seems like a genuine person with a good personality. But when it comes to commercial success, I don't think he will be that successful. Chris Daughtry is talented too, but he didn't really change it up.

Who cares? It's over with months ago and another is upcoming. I still wanna know how the hell William Hung did so well...stuipid asian who cant sing or anything...what is wrong with this world..
