Everyone has the freedom to choose their avatar. The cartoon-looking Yahoo avatars far outnumber the lips. I use my own picture, which has lips in it, because I like it.

lips and eyes are sensual and the first things we notice about are person soooo I guess why not. I don't mind it and we know who was the first ones maybe raise it with the copy cats

i liked the idea of seeing those Angelina Jolie lips a few times but then i started seeing them more then like a few times and it got kinda old,i think they like expressing there tone of voice=]

nice question,well lips is kinda a sexy feature of a womans face,so many women choose this instead of putting something like a breast or butt,who also is sexy but not lets say kind~
