It's Friday... I just got home from a Science conference (inservice for teachers). I got to bring home $18,000 worth of equipment used for performing DNA restriction analysis. I am so excited... we are a small aboriginal school in Northern Manitoba... this is really big (BIG!!!) for us. I am currently waiting for emails back from the other folks I hit up for lab supplies. May seem like a boring thing to many, but my students are going to be SO excited that a few hours in front of a computer sure isn't gonna kill me!

Because I'm new to the city and I have no money and no friends to go out with. Instead, I'm dividing my time with answering/asking stupid questions on the internet and studying.
