No, Twilight Princess was probably (99%) the last Nintendo developed title to be released for the Cube. SSBB will be only developed for the Wii. The only reason that Twilight Princess was released on both platforms was that it was originally destined for the cube, but production delays caused its release window to coincide with the Wii's. Nintendo, shrewd businessment that they are, decided to retool the game for the Wii and make it a launch title for the Wii in addition to the cube version that was always going to happen.

I'm sorry to report, but the planned materials in Super Smash Bros. Brawl will not fit on a Gamecube disc. This game will only be available on the Wii, mostly because of the added characters (finally expanding beyond standard Nintendo characters as Konami's Solid Snake will be a playable character) & the online gameplay potential.

Your best bet would be to buy a Wii, but keep your Gamecube stuff (except the system... unless you're attached to it).

it's only gonna be for the wii. The main reason they sold the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for both the gamecube and the wii was because there were a limited number of wiis out there and companies were still selling games for the gamecube. Any time there is a new console, games will be sold for both the new and the old for a couple of months, then it will be just the new one that they will be sold on.

No, the gamecubes life span is over now. Nintendo is now only dealing with the wii. Super smash bros is a hott series for Nintendo. They wouldn't put a new addition of it on an old system. They are trying to sell the wii. Your probably wondering y they did it for Zelda. I don't know.
