I don't understand, it costs like about $20 a week for me and I would assume it's the same for most other people. Feeding your child for $20 is cheap! It ends up being like only $.60 a bottle!

I with you- It only cost me around $20-30 a week. Everyone made such a fuss about the price of formula but i havent seen any problems. I just make 2 oz. at a time and feed her more often to prevent waisting formula.

It is expensive no matter how you look at it. Yes, it's feeding your child, but a 12.5 oz can can cost $15.00. My daughter only drinks 6 oz right now...thank God...but that small can only lasts me a day and a half. Yes, a day and a half and she eats every 3 hrs or so if she's awake and every 4hrs + if she's sleeping. The cost depends on the brand of milk you buy too. When my son was a baby (he's now 3) he was a spit up baby and I had to give him Enfamil DHA (i think it's called) and it was almost $20.00 for the small 12.5 oz can. The way my daughter eats now, I would be spending about $60.00 per week on formula. Yes, that's expensive. I work part time and have a ridiculous mortgage (I live in Chicago and home prices are outrageous) and $60.00 a week is alot! Of course, I don't complain bc clearly my daughter needs to eat and thankfully now she is able to eat solids so the pressure should soon enough decrease. If you can afford to pay for it, it doesn't seem so expensive, but it is when you can barely afford it. Thank God for coupons!

My son's formula costs about 30-40 a week. I wouldn't complain about it though because I knew that having a child would be exspensive! If you are in a place where you can't afford to take care of a child, then don't have one! Really quite simple.....

Who knows. Most people recieve WIC for their babies and get their baby formula free and still cry about the cost and people with foodstamps that can buy formula with that still complains.
Some of the formula though is expensive like enfamil but when your baby needs fed why complain about the cost?

Where the heck are you getting your formula from? It costs me 5.82 a bottle which equals around 40 bucks a week.

You shouldn't be looking at the price of the formula, you should be thinking to yourself that your baby is in good health and money should not be a problem, you can always get coupons from the company who makes the formula anyways

It's pretty expensive compared to breastfeeding or regular cow's milk.
The people who complain should have thought harder about breastfeeding. It's not cheap to bottle feed!
