The only way that the people could take back control of the government would be if we adopted a system of proportional representation, but, unfortunately, this would require a change in the Constitution, and such a change would have to be authorized by the sitting Congress, which has no motivation to make such a change, because they are now in office and everything looks rosy to most of them. In other words, it is impossible for the people to take back control of the government, which means that America will just muddle along until we reach an even worse state of anarchy than what we live in today, and, even more so than it is today, the byword will be “Every man for himself.”

Just how do you propose to "take it back" when you can't even get a majority of people to vote? And take it back from whom? Do you really believe it is out of your hands? If you do, you aren't working hard enough yourself.
