Last week, in national news James Kim freezed to death in Oregon during his ordeal where his family got stranded. His phone signal was too weak to contact anyone. Would OnStar have saved him by locating his accident, since OnStar is conneted to Satellite?

more then likley yes because he would of been able to contact onstar through satelite and they would of been able to locate his vehicle.
