Sometimes is not necessarily the type of shoe as much as it is the surface that you will be standing on (assuming you will be standing in the same general area for that long period of time, as for example at the workplace).
Raised wood flooring of anti-fatigue floor mats (you can find them on the internet) are your best bets. You can also try looking for "anti fatigue shoes" on the internet. Good Luck!

I'd have to say Nike. More specifically Shox. They are tough and they last. But if your not in that price range, than just go with any Nike shoes. They last long and can stand anything. (Even a wash!)

if you are looking for a dressy shoe, try Dansko clogs. Spendy but durable and worth every penny.
