Oh my goodness. Why not have school? For starters- we learn, diversify our view of the world, change the way we think and increase the productivity of the world as a whole. But there are so many other reasons for school. We learn to socialize, share, how to treat others, how to prioritize and take responsiblities. School is the environment that shapes us into who we will become.

Not sure but I think school should be more like college
take the courses you are interested in. Otherwise I think that they are worthless, most kids don't remember anything after they get out of high school.

For a free country to work, the voters must be able to make informed decisions. Education is the key to being informed. Our nation offers a free education to everyone. That is not the case in many nations around the world.

Learning facts is only one part of school. Hopefully, it also teaches you how to think.

Other reasons for school are the following:
1) to teach you how to socialize with other people and to learn how to interact with people
2) to indoctrinate you into thinking like the rest of your culture and society thinks (that is, to teach you the social norms and beliefs)
3) to postpone your entry into the job market so that "old" people have less competition for jobs.

We have school so we can have a successful future.Without some form of education, we wouldn't have any job oppurtunities and be living under bridges.
