I think Andrei Schevchenko is the most overrated. £30 million for a 30 year old who is stuggling to score. He is very overated. He was crap for Ukraine against Scotland as well and only got anything done by cheating.

One most look at David Beckham for Real Milrad and England. In his hay day's for Manchester United a good passer and set pieces type of player, but lacks good defending skills. Overrated meaning the amount of Money you get for the player and his skills you bring to the table. Funny Real has No trophies when David Beckham has been in the squad. Just one persons opinion .

David Beckham- he just gets so much attention due to his physical appearance and marriage to Posh Spice. So he has nice free kicks, but as a player he is way overrated. As for the the United States, Landon Donovan is also overrated. He was hyped up so much before the world cup, and he didn't do anything. Then again, the U.S. itself was overhyped.

I have to say Cannavaro. I'm not taking anything from what he did for Italy in the World Cup, but three good games doesn't make you European foot baler of the year. Look what he's doing for Real Madrid; not to much. He's just a regular player and a bit overrated.

Landon Donovan to all americans he is shite! but in reall football the most overrated player with out doubt is Becks hes talented but not close to what he has been made out to be.and a close second comes in Ballack hes nothing without lampard and essien in chelsea, and in the national side without frings a very underrated player.
